A therapist will need to know information about your neurological condition, investigations or prior treatment you have had and any other medical conditions. They will need to know what medication you are taking including any non-prescription or pain-killing drugs and if you have any allergies.
An assessment will usually take around an hour, however due to the additional time involved in formulating a treatment plan, may take up to 90 minutes.
Clients are advised to wear suitable clothing so that a full assessment of the trunk and limbs can be performed (a T-shirt and shorts are ideal). If you have any concerns regarding this or any spiritual requirements please discuss this when you make your initial appointment.
